Understanding our customer experience
You will be translating customer journeys and customer requirements into UX/UI requirements and develop basic mock-ups and wireframes with your preferred set of tools. You work closely with designers to develop an UX/UI design that can be implemented. Based on that, you will improve the user experience of Company.info online. In addition, you will monitor user engagement through Google Analytics and Hotjar.
Improving our customer experience
You will develop new front-end functionalities in React & Thymeleaf. Improving/refactoring existing front-end functionality based on user interaction & feedback. You will be working primarily on our website; Company.info. Ideas and input for other products like Webservices and Data-on-Demand are more than welcome!
Working together in an Agile and Scrum environment
You attend the daily's (stand ups) and work closely with other Front- and Back-End Developers in two weekly sprints. Besides providing requirements for the Back-End colleagues of your team, you will also work with (external) UX/UI Designers. With the Front-End team, you will coordinate user experience initiatives from concept to implementation and advise Developers and Visual Designers about this matter.
You have experience with a number of technologies/methodologies/practices:
+ Strong experience with MVC development and View Rendering Engines such as Thymeleaf (Java), Twig (PHP), Jinja (Python), etc.
+ Great UI skills: HTML5, CSS
+ Testing day-and-night: Chai, Jasmine, Mocha
+ Powering the back-end: Node.js, Express.js
A good feeling with development methodologies:
+ Scrum, supported by Git and Jira
+ Browser testing, debugging.
+ Building micro-services
Experience with practices:
+ SEO best-practices
A big plus:
+ Mastering a second language. For example: Java, Python, PHP
+ Proficient in shell scripting
